When worn it denotes a free English person. In today’s world a mock version may be necessary. Armourers can make blunt versions. The leather sheath can be etched with designs of Dragons, Horses etc. The blade can be etched with your name.

Normally used for eating. It is the domestic version of the ‘lang’ Seax and could be used for children’s adornment. A mock version may be necessary. Armourers can make blunt versions.
